Terms of Use
These Terms govern your access to Defence Road, including notes, mock tests, diagnostic dashboards, account features, paid plans and related services.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Defence Road, creating an account, taking a mock test, using diagnostic feedback, or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and any plan-specific terms shown at checkout.
If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.
Nature of the service
Defence Road is an educational and exam-preparation platform for defence aspirants. It provides notes, mocks, practice questions, diagnostic feedback, preparation tools and related learning content.
Defence Road is not an official website of UPSC, the Ministry of Defence, Indian Armed Forces, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Indian Army, or any government recruitment authority. Official notifications, eligibility and selection decisions remain controlled by the relevant authority.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for the accuracy of information provided during signup and for keeping your account secure. You must not share passwords, sell access, transfer an account, or allow unauthorised use.
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe there is misuse, payment abuse, scraping, credential sharing, attempted hacking, violation of these Terms, or risk to other users or the platform.
Educational content and accuracy
We work to keep content useful, exam-oriented and updated. However, educational content, explanations, eligibility summaries, medical-standard summaries, current affairs notes and diagnostic recommendations may contain omissions, errors or become outdated.
Users should verify official exam notifications, eligibility, medical standards, dates, fees and instructions from the relevant official authority before acting on them. Defence Road does not guarantee selection, marks, ranking, qualification, medical fitness or interview success.
Mocks, diagnostics and feedback
Mock tests and diagnostic reports are learning tools. Scores, ranks, weak-area tags, recommended topics and AI-assisted feedback are indicative and depend on the test attempted, data available, user behaviour and system logic.
We may modify question banks, scoring, topic tags, feedback formats, difficulty levels, subscriptions and dashboard features to improve the product. Past performance data may be recalculated or presented differently as the platform evolves.
Plans, payments and billing
Paid access may include subscriptions, mock packs, test series, notes access, diagnostics, dashboards or other digital learning benefits. The plan details shown at checkout or on the relevant page form part of these Terms.
Payments are processed through payment partners. Access may begin immediately or shortly after successful payment confirmation. Taxes, gateway charges, foreign exchange charges or bank fees may apply depending on the transaction.
Cancellations and refund review
Refund and cancellation handling is governed by our Refund Policy. Because Defence Road provides digital educational access, mock tests, diagnostics and content that may be activated immediately, completed payments are generally treated as final once access or benefits are made available, except for limited verified cases described in that policy or as required by law.
Prohibited use
You must not copy, scrape, download in bulk, resell, publish, share, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, automate attempts, interfere with platform security, upload harmful code, impersonate another user, or use Defence Road for unlawful purposes.
You must not reproduce questions, explanations, notes, dashboards, reports or platform material in a way that harms Defence Road, violates intellectual-property rights, or enables unauthorised distribution.
Intellectual property
All website design, question banks, notes, explanations, diagnostics, feedback formats, reports, code, trademarks, logos and other platform material are owned by Defence Road, Cavalier, licensors or content partners, unless otherwise stated.
A personal, limited, non-transferable right to use purchased or free learning content is granted only for individual exam preparation. It does not include redistribution, resale, public posting or commercial reuse.
Third-party services and links
The platform may use or link to third-party services such as login providers, payment gateways, analytics tools, hosting, email systems, official notifications or reference pages. Their terms and privacy practices may apply separately.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Defence Road and its associated persons will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive losses, loss of opportunity, exam result, selection chance, data, goodwill, or profit arising from use of the platform.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant service giving rise to the claim, unless a higher amount is required by applicable law.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of India. Disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith support communication at info@cavalier.in. Any unresolved dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in India, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms as the service, law, payment model, exam coverage or product features change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
